The immediate cause was a jump in load of the CPUs by 150X. I am investigating the why this happened.

Thanks to Yann who first spotted this and got the server rebooted. You can also post problems you have encountered in implementing systems and hopefully get advice from many of the other expert users of our server.

While I envisage the Forum will mostly be used by webmasters using our server - I will allow participation from other interested parties. It may be that you might wish to join us. Certainly at the moment we have plenty of spare capacity.

I know a number of users are trying out various different modules. Please try and find time to write them up here.

I will be posting information and tips I have already picked up over the last two months.

I have shut the ticket system I did have on cactus-mall.net. I think this will be a better place to get answers to problems.
